         Letters and petitions to U.S. Postmaster General Montgomery Blair on behalf of David Cass, a resident of Caldwell, seeking employment in the money order department of the post office department. Included are letters of Amzi Dodd (1823- 1913), John C. Eccleston, Frederick T. Frelinghuysen, Cortlandt Parker, and James B. Pinneo. Joseph P. Bradley signed one of the petitions.
