         Legal documents, correspondence, certificates, and genealogical data relating to this Middlesex County family. Includes information on James Morgan (d. 1784) and his son of the some name (1756-1822), both of whom served as officers in New Jersey regiments during the Revolutionary War.  The young James Morgan served in the U.S. Congress, 181 1- 13.
