Summary:

Theological notes; sermon outlines; birth, baptism, communion, and marriage records kept for the First Congregational Church of Newark, New Jersey.  Brown was dismissed from his pastorate in the Congregational church in Andover, Massachusetts and became pastor of the church in Newark in 1855.
