Provenance:

This collection was found in the Society’s library vault at 230 Broadway, Newark in 1995. The only clue as to what they contained was a note on the boxes that read “Neafie Collection.” John Neafie was an extensive donor to the Society throughout the years and it is assumed that either he, or one of his descendants donated this collection.
