Summary:

Ledgers, account books, stock certificate books, minutes, resolutions, correspondence, bills, receipts, photographs, promotional material, and legal papers of the Crossman Company, a sand and clay mining company based in Sayreville and later South Amboy, New Jersey.  Also includes records of Alta Sales Corporation and correspondence of and relating to Charles W. Crane and the harbor, river, and sound transportation company of C. W. Crane & Co.
