James Van Kirk (fl. 1813-15) was a surveyor, possibly from Sussex County New Jersey, from at least 1813-1815.

Scope and Content Note
This collection consists of a field book kept by James Van Kirk from 1813-1815 containing his surveys from Burlington, Hunterdon and Sussex Counties, New Jersey. Each survey documents the date, names of the owners of the property, dimensions of the property, and sometimes the county.
