Leaf through old copies of the Pike Interchange—the Turnpike Authority’s employee newspaper—and you can easily see how Turnpike divisions and fellowship extended beyond the job. Here, look for a clue of inter-company play: some players’ shirts say “Cities Service” (the provider of gasoline and repair services).
